Tumbling and Trampoline
The inherent FUN of trampoline disguises the amount of energy being expended! Unlike so many children’s activities, when on trampoline, children eagerly sustain an activity level that leads to genuine fitness including: cardiovascular health, leg and core strength, calorie burning and weight loss. Children will have the opportunity to build strength, flexibility and gymnastics skills on both the floor and trampoline. This program uses state-of-the-art equipment, making us one of the most complete training centers in New Jersey. We begin with Air Tracks and progress to Tumble Trak and Trampoline, then skill training mats and finally onto the Spring Floor. Our foam filled pits provide a softer and more forgiving surface for the difficult to master landings. The variety of progressions and apparatus help our staff deliver a more rewarding experience to any athlete that is striving for that "dream tumbling pass" without all of the frustration that usually accompanies the monotony of repeated efforts. Skills taught include: cartwheels, round offs, power hurdle cartwheels, power hurdle round off, bridge (with kick over), back bend kick over, back walkover, walking on hands, standing back handspring right through round off, back handspring back layout with a full twist.
*Tumblers should wear either a leotard or cheer shorts and a fitted tee.*
Exhibition Cheer Team
We are currently forming our half-year Exhibition Cheer Team. Our cheer team will consist of kindergarten-second grade girls. The team will learn a routine, improve their tumbling, jumping and stunting skills which will lead to stronger cheerleaders and confident individuals!
This team program is currently being formed and placements will continue through December 1st.
The Exhibition Team will have the opportunity to perform at local festivals/fairs, our gymnastics competitions held at our facility as well as our annual gym show.
